Family film about three children who find a genie - Genius - on a farm in Alderley Edge. Genius takes them on a wild and unpredictable adventure to a world of magic, dragons and hidden treasure. In return, the kids introduce him to something he has never known: friendship. It's part of the BBC Christmas 2009 season.
Plot Summary:Sally lives with Gransha, her grandmother, on a farm in Cheshire. One day Sally and her friends Spikey and Patch discover a bottle containing a genie who will obey their every whim - which is rather handy as Gransha is in danger of losing the farm. At the same time scientists at the nearby space telescope at Jodrell Bank pick up evidence of a dragon being in the area. Sally and her friends decide to track down the dragon to find out its demands and see if these can be used to help them and the genie save Gransha's farm.
