Plot Summary:WWE Battleground comes to you from The Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. The final PPV before the self proclaimed "biggest event of the summer". On this night WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena will kick off his 15th reign (yes 15th; it is demoralizing) defending against 3 other men in a fatal 4 way: "The Viper" Randy Orton, "The Demon" Kane and Roman Reigns. In a stacked card Chris Jericho looks to gain retribution against a venomous Bray Wyatt (who is looking to rebound from being buried by the aforementioned Cena). Dean Ambrose looks to destroy former friend and Shield member Seth Rollins; for those who hate to be disappointed i must divulge that this match doesn't actually go ahead. The Divas title, Tag Team Titles Intercontinental Title all on the line, as well as a Nations Pride as "Real American" Jack Swagger takes on anti American Rusev.
