哈里是一位深受困扰的父亲，他试图与儿子西莫重新建立联系。当西莫开始独自经历类似的问题时，哈里意识到他必须面对他的恶魔，并且这一次要达到他为儿子设定的标准。但是，在一个狭隘的、笃信宗教的、组织严密的社会里，浸透着妒忌，像周围的雪一样冰冷，哈里将不得不求助于他最害怕的一件事:真相。
Plot Summary:A priest who left his cheating wife (Mikko Nousiainen) moves with his school-aged son to a small town in Kainuu, where he plans to start a new life. The beginning, however, is not very rosy when the reception in the small community turns out to be cold, to say the least. The apartment that was supposed to be furnished is empty. The father immediately becomes the talk of the other members of the congregation and the son is being bullied at school. The situation begins to escalate, and very suddenly the continuation of life in a new community seems hopeless. \"Time Out\" is a heightened depiction of reality, an extreme story in which serious drama and equally serious black humor go hand in hand.
