剧情介绍
法律もクソもない未来。自転を止めた地球のせいで砂漠化したアジアの一角では、一体のフィギュアを巡って戦士たちがハイテンションな口論を繰り広げていた……。現代の日本。伝説のアクション・フィギュア”ヘルバンカー“を追って日夜走り回っている熱狂的なフィギュア・マニアのユウジは、恋人の麻美とのことも二の次、ライヴァルのキムの出現で、益々ヘルバンカー探しに熱を上げていた。そんなある日、彼はロボット・アニメおたくのハサモトからヘルバンカーを知るアメリカ人科学者でおもちゃマニアのスーン博士の存在を聞かされる。早速、博士との接触を試みるユウジ。だが、博士は爆弾テロに遭いこの世を去ってしまうのであった。ところで、そんなユウジの行状に呆れ果て部屋を飛び出した麻美は、韓国宮廷秘伝の造型技術を受け継ぐクミホという謎の老人と出会う。実は、そのクミホこそがヘルバンカーの制作者だっ...Yuji and his friends are members of the extensive Japanese sub-culture of "otaku" or science-fiction fanatics. Yuji's particular obsession is collecting plastic figures, still inside their blister packages. His goal is to find a mythical figure named "Hellbanker" which is not to be found in any store in Japan. Mixed in with this storyline is a seemingly unrelated subplot set 200 years in the future, after a global environmental disaster, in which two men are fighting over the contents of a mysterious box that can supposedly save the world. How can the two possibly be connected?
