去年新冠高烧第一天看了一个电影《肖申克的救赎》，在人生的不同时期看就有不一样的感受和角度。如今我再看，关注点在于——为什么肖申克能出来？

第一，他始终抱有希望，他始终明白自己的归宿是哪里——

1.他的言行举止依旧保持着入狱前的方式，并没有因进入监狱而同化。

He had a quiet way about him, a walk and a talk that just wasn't normal around here, He strolled like a man in the park without a care or a worry in the world, like he had on an invisible coat that would shield him from this place.

2. 在各种挫折面前，他会静下来等待反击的时机。

他通过他人来保护自己。在监狱的前两年他常常遭受流氓团伙的欺负，没人帮得了安迪这无时无刻被偷袭的情况，这是一种比较痛苦的境地。之后因为安迪抓住了与警官的交易，某一天安迪被打了个半死，监狱警官把肇事者打了个残疾，无人再敢欺负安迪。

被监狱长算计后，

3. 不停地想办法，不停地行动

买锤子、买棋盘和海报掩盖、

4. 希望

瑞德理解为什么布鲁克不愿意离开监狱，他早已被体制化了。

Brooks ain’t no bug, he is just institutionalized(). The man’s been in here 50 years!

劝安迪也不要抱有希望，因为希望是危险的。

这样的希望支撑着他连续十几年使用石锤凿出一条隧道，（这个锤子被瑞德认为需要花六百年才能凿一个地道）

支撑他在500英尺的下水道匍匐前行。

第二，他拥有一技之长，广泛涉猎，且懂得利用人性。

1.他对石材地质有一定兴趣，这使得他能利用石质的特性打磨隧道，也使得他打磨出雕像以掩盖凿隧道。

2.作为曾经缅因州一家大银行的副总裁，他明白各种专业方面的门道。他免费帮助监狱警官填表逃掉税收，通过把三万五赠送给妻子，因为他知道，“国税局允许一生一次最多六万的赠与免税”。

3.他用书上的知识警告流氓头头，免于被侮辱，但是被打个半死。

4.作为免费的靠谱的劳动力，请他办事的越来越多，从半数的警卫报税到包括典狱长所有的警卫，再到其他监狱的警卫。

因为他的一技之长、平等尊重别人的方式和适当的恭维，让他一点点获得了更广阔一些的权限。

从洗衣服调到图书馆管理员助手，

他这样描述自己。

I‘m a convicted murderer who provides sound financial planning. It’s a wonderful pet to have.

并且他准备再扩展自己的想法，给监狱扩建一座图书馆。

how about expanding the library. Get some new books.

他不是简单止步于要钱，而是像典狱长提议”Maybe I could write the state senate and request funds from them “ So Andy started writing a letter a week just like he said.

第三，他有着对人基本的尊重，懂得反思，保持冷静。

1.对于妻子的偷情(常人眼中的背叛)他没有什么表示，他只是对那天他没有同意妻子离婚而感到抱歉和悔意。因为入狱的原因之一正因为事发当天喝醉了而百口难辨，他把酒戒掉了。

2.他想知道一个被监狱警官打死的人的名字。当他请瑞德买锤子时也问他了的名l字。

3. 他使得狱友喝到啤酒，这使得大家愿意帮他一些忙。（找用于雕刻棋子的石头……）

(I suppose I could set it up for you. That would save you some money. You get the forms, I’ll prepare them nearly free of charge. I’d only ask three beers apiece for each of my coworkers）.

他通过某种幽默又带点可怜的语言表达方式（A man working outdoors feels more like a man if he can have a bottle of suds. That’s only my opinion. Sir.）让监狱警官请他的狱友（他的表达方式是同事coworker）一人三瓶啤酒。他这里说话完全是为他人考虑的方式，同时也把自己和狱友放在一个相对平等的位置。结果就是

We sat an drank with the sun on our shoulders and felt like free men. We could have been tarring the roof of one of our own houses. We were the lords of all creation. As for Andy, he spent that break hunkered in the shade, a strange little smile on his face watching us drink his beer. You could argue he done it to curry favor with the guards, or maybe make a fer friends among us cons, me? I think he did it just to feel normal again if only for a short while.

5.他愿意帮助一个想要从头学习英文参加高中考试的狱友，平静而耐心。

分析一通后想到之前与室友讨论，她说她喜欢看耽美小说，因为男男往往可以达到现实中的势均力敌，这是男女所难以想象的；又喜欢看里面美强惨的人设，喜欢的不是摧毁的部分，而是烈火冶真金、凤凰浴火重生，是不被苦难摧毁的强大的生命力，是闪耀着的人性的光芒。那么这部剧里的安迪可以说是极其符合后者的。

刚才写的时候又回看了一遍，觉得英文台词表达的很不错就记录下来，猛然想到初一语文课我们也是看电影，看着看着语文老师暂停让我们记录，那时我们还什么都不会，他只能一步一步地教。那时候，我只记录老师让记录的，自己脑子里空空如也，没有想法，没有联想，只看到浮在表面的泡沫。
